Life Lessons from Remarkable Women with Stylist Magazine
Penguin Live teams up with Stylist to bring you an evening of inspiring women to celebrate the publication of their book Life Lessons from Remarkable Women: tales of triumph, failure and learning to love yourself. Recorded live at the Like A Woman pop-up bookshop for International women's day. Embedded in the DNA of Stylist magazine are the voices of inspiring women and their unique take on the world. Now, those voices have been brought together in Life Lessons from Remarkable Women. The book hosts a diverse and fascinating collection of essays which are insightful, funny and often very moving. Addressing every aspect of a modern woman’s life, from love and loss through to confidence-building and empowerment, the contributors range from sportswomen to entrepreneurs, politicians to writers. To celebrate the release of the book we’ve invited a group of the contributors along to share readings of their essays followed by a Q&A. The event will be chaired by Stylist’s Executive Editor Mandie Gower and will feature Stylist columnist and author Lucy Mangan, broadcaster and sex educator Alix Fox, campaigner and journalist Robyn Wilder, and journalist and author Laura-Jane Williams.
