Michelle Obama - Penguin Talks
Penguin Talks is a series of free creative events which gives young people the opportunity to hear directly from, and question, some of our most influential authors. Former First Lady Michelle Obama addresses 250 students at Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School in North London about empowerment through education and the important role of self-belief in achieving your goals. Her 2009 visit to the school was a key inspiration for her focus on education. Mrs Obama is in conversation with alumni from the school to mark the publication of her memoir, Becoming.
